In-depth interviews use a number of methods and techniques, which are selected according to the project’s character and purpose. In cases, where considered relevant such as with very personal topics or special usage situations, we will go to the respondent’s home or “out in the field,” this way we create the best settings for the interview.
When uncovering very deep and maybe unconscious feelings and motives, we apply different projective techniques. A technique that can help the respondent describe emotions and moods connected to difficult situations like a fire, user situation or a state of mind is to use games, creativity and other approaches.
